Day 4 - Middle Splits Challenge
Gym Day
I woke up and went to the gym.
I completed my routine (skipped pull-ups due to the soreness of my palms)
I didn't feel like doing the stretches and core exercises at the gym; so, I came home.
The Training
I warmed up with some minor horse stance.
I also completed 3 sets of the butterfly pose - 1-min stretch with 15-lbs weight disc on each thigh and 1-min rest in between.
The Experience
Again, my thighs ache and I could feel them stretching while in position; the 60 seconds felt like an hour and the overall 10-mins felt like 24 hrs.
I also used the kids' tumbling mat for support due to its shape & material.
I think I did pretty okay with the training.
I'm beginning to feel minor thigh muscle ache, but nothing serious to keep me down.
I feel like I'm becoming more limber; however, I haven't seen a noticeable change in the splits.
After the training, I also completed another warm-up with the butterfly pose and the weights.
Informal Sessions
I also practised the butterfly pose throughout the day, using a 10-pound or 15-pounds disc on each thigh.
After work, I stretched with the butterfly pose and afterwards, I did another 10-mins splits training.
After the training, I stretched with the butterfly pose again.
Conclusion
I'm beginning to crave this goal very much; I can't stop stretching almost anywhere.
With consistency and no-quit attitude, I will accomplish this goal. See ya tomorrow!.
