Day 3 - Middle Splits Challenge

I don't have gym training today; however, I was expected to wake up early for some stretching.

I woke up about an hour later. Boy!

Anyways,

I'm beginning to fall into a routine on this challenge, which is quite helpful.

I did some horse stance stretching to warm up my thighs.

Then, I did 3 sets of butterfly pose with 10-pounds weight disc for about 60 seconds each before resting.

After the third set, I felt my thighs were warm enough to start the training.

The Experience

Again, my thighs ache and I could feel them stretching while in position; the 60 seconds felt like an hour and the overall 10-mins felt like 24 hrs.

I also used the kids' tumbling mat for support due to its shape & material.

I think I did pretty okay with the training.

I'm beginning to feel minor thigh muscle ache, but nothing serious to keep me down.

I feel like I'm becoming more limber; however, I haven't seen a noticeable change in the splits.

Informal Sessions

While brushing my teeth & getting ready for work, I stretched my legs again into a split; I also practised some horse stance.

I also practised the butterfly pose throughout the day, using a 10-pound disc on each thigh.

After work, I stretched with the butterfly pose and afterwards, I did another 10-min splits training.

After the training, I stretched with the butterfly pose again.

Conclusion

I'm thinking that consistency is the key to achieving this goal; stretching the thighs at every opportunity I have will allow me to accomplish this goal.

Boy! That would be something, wouldn't it? See ya tomorrow!
