Day 2 - Middle Splits Challenge
I was about to start this training during my gym time and I realized that there wasn't enough support for me there.
So, I completed my gym time & came home.
I used the kids' gymnastics tumbling mat for support as its soft material and incline shape provide the necessary support I needed.
The Experience
Again, I haven't started feeling the pain yet. Yes, my thighs ache and I feel them stretching while in position; the 60 seconds felt like an hour and the overall 10-mins felt like 24 hrs.
However, my body was able to bounce back; so, there isn't an all-day soreness.
Informal Sessions
I also practised the butterfly pose throughout the day, using a 10-pound disc on each thigh.
After work, I stretched with the butterfly pose and afterwards, I did another 10-mins splits training.
After the training, I stretched with the butterfly pose again.
