Day 15 - Middle Splits Challenge
Halfway through the challenge already!
This has truly been a wild ride, both physiologically and psychologically.
That I haven't quit yet is a good sign of good things to come; I don't think my goals usually last more than 2 weeks before they become abandoned.
So, I'm glad that the energy and motivation is still as strong as on Day 1.
Woke up and got ready for my session.
The Training
Completed my usual warm-ups; neglected the straddle lifts.
I also completed another hamstring stretch (I don't remember its official name).
I was ready for the session.
The Experience
Again, with the music and eyes closed, the pain was bearable.
As mentioned yesterday, I also began leaning back, with my torso leaning straight instead of forward.
This puts more pressure on the thighs and the heels; I also began pushing down.
That seemed to be doing the trick as I could feel myself going lower than before.
I completed the session and a few mins later, all the aches were gone.
Informal Sessions
Before brushing, I completed another session; while brushing, I completed another one.
While working, I completed a couple sessions.
While taking my weekly walks, I completed 1 session and 2 or 3 hamstring stretches.
I'm just a stretching maniac now, stretching anywhere I could.
After my walk, I stopped stretching.....to allow my body to rest for tomorrow.
Still not sure I'll complete the goal in 15 days, but I'm more optimistic now.
