Day 13 - Middle Splits Challenge
I'm getting a little depressed
that I might not be able to make this goal within the allotted timeframe.
It's 17 more days and I haven't seen any noticeable progress, even though I'm feeling the limberness on my thighs.
The Training
Completed my lazy warm-ups as well as a few straddle lifts.
Post-workout soreness is very minimal nowadays; my body may feel sore when I wake up, but once I start moving around, all soreness ends.
The Experience
With music and eyes closed, the sessions are flying by.
I still feel the stretches when in position; I've also started flexing and stretching the thighs while in position to increase the range.
I feel that I'm giving it my all and I could feel the increase in flexibility range; however, I'm just not seeing a noticeable difference in the butt/thigh distance to the floor - it's still about 10/11 inches from the floor.
Informal Sessions
I stretch using the bed frame, I stretch using the wall, I stretch without holding onto anything.
I butterfly pose at almost every sitting and whenever lying on my back.
I know I'm more limber now and that my range of motion is expanding; however, I'm unsure my butts will touch the floor in 17 days.
